Overhaul the Bonfiglioli is a ittle bigger.
The first issue I see is the position of the holes attaching the electric motor
They are 3 on the Leroy Sommer and 4 on the Bonfiglioli, therefore they are at a different angle.
Side by side
On the Leroy Somer the distance between the holes is 65 mm
The Bonfiglioli will have to be drilled to match the Leroy Somer
The shaft from the electric motor was 10 mm on the Leroy Somer
And 10 mm as well on the Bonfiglioli
The shaft space for the winch on the boom (for the outhaul) was difficult to measure, but over 19 mm on the Leroy Somer
On the Bonfiglioli the shaft space was only 16 mm
The inside will have to be machined to be enlarged to 19 or so mm
unless the shaft itself is reduced to 16 or so mm to fit inside the Bonfiglioli
The width of the 4 bolts holding the transmission (and its electric motor was 60 mm on the Leroy Somer
And it was also 60 mm on the Bonfiglioli
Another concern was how long were the bolts on the Bonfiglioli
Fairly short
With plenty of space to bolt a longer bolt (as these hold the transmission to the boom)
These are size 5 mm .80 thread
Here are different views of these 4 bolts
Not knowing the proper sequence, some bolts have been removed already on the picture
